Crafting is an obsession just like any other.  
Sometimes it is hard to not overdo and put
off things that we should be doing in favor
of playing a little longer.  But this is ok!  A
little extra playing is what makes us feel better,
it also makes the people around us happier.  
So play an extra hour or two this week.  Don't
wait until things settle down or worse when
you retire!  Life is now and balancing fun
and needful activities like work, cooking
and cleaning is how you discover the real
art of living.

11-22-2008  We will be meeting at Cafe Monet around 11:00 so bring your projects and join the fun!  We have the backroom from 11:00 to 3:00!

11-21-2008  We will be meeting at Beverly's for a special embroidery class.  It starts around 4:30, we will be learning a Victorian technique that combines embroidery and using crayons to color the fabric.  Come and learn something new!

11-15-2008  We will be meeting at Cafe Monet around 11:00 so bring your projects and join the fun!

11-08-2008  We will be meeting at Cafe Monet
at 11:00.  We have the backroom from 11:00 - 5:00.

11-01-2008  We will be meeting at Cafe Monet
at 11:00.  We do not have the backroom for the day.  

There won't be a meeting at Beverly's this Friday due to Halloween so I expect everyone
to make it Saturday :  )

10-25-2008  We will be meeting at Cafe Monet
and it all starts at 11:00!  Bring a project and
have some fun with us!

10-24-2008  There will be a crafting evening at
Beverly's.  The theme will be felt Christmas
ornaments.  It will start around 4:30 bring a
project and join us.

 

We are a diverse group of people who come together each week to share their passion for crafting.   The first rule of the club is have fun!  We meet at Cafe Monet every Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, sometimes longer.  We have a Yahoo group  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smv-crafters
