This is the second book by Dalene Kelly on the subject of beaded flowers.  The flowers in the book are beautiful and inspiring.  The instructions are really clear and nicely illustrated.  The flowers are really easy to make because there are very few techniques to learn.  

The only issue I had with the book is that the flower patterns are written without details of the techniques.  So when just starting I found myself flipping back and forth, translating the patterns.  A good way to use the book is to photocopy the techniques pages, this makes it easier then flipping back and forth.  Once you learn the terms and techniques it is really easy to use.

If you are looking for a new way to make flowers this hobby is really fun.  Most patterns use size 11 seed beads.  Be sure to buy high quality beads because the cheaper ones will not fit together properly.  Fire Mountain Gems is a great source of high quality pre-strung seed beads  http://www.firemountaingems.com
